Andreas Poellen is Managing Director at Saxenhammer Switzerland.
Andreas leads the strategic and operational initiatives in Switzerland and specializes in investment and corporate banking as well as corporate finance. With 24 years of experience advising private and public companies, family offices and private equity clients, Andreas has handled numerous cross-border mergers and acquisitions (M&A), divestitures, leveraged buyouts, initial public offerings (IPOs), capital raisings and restructurings in Switzerland, Europe and the US.
He advises companies and entrepreneurs on how to navigate the complexities of the seller's market and offers comprehensive advice on preparing successful transactions. With more than 17 years of experience in the Swiss corporate finance and M&A market, Andreas relies on his understanding of the success factors in family successions and corporate transactions, his holistic specialist knowledge, his industry expertise and his long-standing trusting relationships with entrepreneurs, boards of directors and management to provide Swiss clients with the to connect the global buying community.
He has advised clients in a wide range of industries, including industrial manufacturing, life sciences, logistics, aerospace, family offices and private equity. In addition to his professional duties, Andreas is a lecturer in International Corporate Finance at the ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences. Before his current position, he worked at BNP Paribas, Edmond de Rothschild, leading auditing and consulting firms and at a listed company.
Andreas studied at the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf in Germany and at the University of Kent in England. He has the German and Swiss nationality.
